Ankylosaurus IFV
Although the Ankylosaurus is by far the slowest of Omicron Zodiac’s APC offerings it also sports the thickest armor of them all. Its spacious 4 ton troop bay gives it ample room to transport specialist infantry in moderate safety. The Ankylosaurus’s tracks also allow it to tackle more robust terrain than either the Armadillo and the Hoverfly. Troops boarding an Ankylosaurus will often feel slightly reassured by the extra armor and inability to outrun its supporting units.
The IFV upgrade increases the Ankylosaurus' weight but provides it with a turreted weapon mount allowing it to further support its escorts or infantry payload. The Ankylosaurus is mostly seen armed with either a long range missile launcher for work in open areas or a trio of flamers, most suitable for urban and other dense environments.
